2021 Pumpkin Carving Contest Rules
This contest is open to everyone and there is not an entry fee.
PUMPKINS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 11AM ON SATURDAY OCTOBER 30
One pumpkin per participant.
Pumpkins of all shapes and sizes are acceptable as long as they are real.
While commercial stencils may be used, handmade stencils or free hand carvings will earn more creativity points in the judging.
Pumpkins are not to be painted or otherwise decorated. Only carved pumpkins will be entered into the contest.
Inappropriate pumpkins will be disqualified.
The carved pumpkins must be able to stand without any support or back drop needed.
All entries must be labeled with the following information (on an index card or alike taped to the back of the pumpkin):
Name, address, phone number, category and please note if a commercial stencil was used.
Please indicate whether you would like to pick your pumpkin up after judging. If pumpkins are not picked up by 5:00 PM October 31st they will be discarded.
Pumpkins will be judged on Friday October 29th and on originality of design and overall detail of their finished piece.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will be awarded per age category.
1st place winners = $100 2nd place winners= $50 3rd place winners = $25
Winners will be contacted on Saturday, October 30th, 2021 by Noon.
Categories are:
Kids up to 12 years
Teens 13 to 17 years
Adult 18 years and older
We are not responsible for any loss or damage to your pumpkin.
